On The Road, Time is Money.
Regular stops to refuel can take their toll on your workday or extend your drive time on road trips with your 5th wheel trailer. Dee Zee Combo Auxiliary Transfer Tanks are tested and certified to hold diesel fuel for refueling equipment at the job site or for transferring directly to your truck’s fuel tank during longer commutes and storing tools of your trade.
Our tanks are constructed out of Non-Rusting .125 Brite-Tread Aluminum with radius curve design to eliminate key weld pressure points and are hydrostatically pressure tested up to 29psi to ensure they meet the highest level of quality.
Extra Fuel When You Need it, Siphoned Directly to Your Gas Tank.
Go ahead, skip that next exit with confidence. Our sophisticated connector kit (sold separately) allows you to move fuel directly from your transfer tank to your fuel tank. Auxiliary Tanks meet Federal DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration requirements for tanks to perform as an Auxiliary Fuel system.
Connector kits to feed diesel directly into your OEM fuel line sold separately.

Not sure on the California regulations but they meet the federal DOT regulations.

For the 6.5′ bed the best is the DZ91741XB. It is an 80 gallon tank.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Keys for our toolboxes are attached to the shock with a zip tie.
AdminDeeZee2 –
You can go no larger than 56″ in length to fit in a Super Duty because of the curvature from the floor to the side wall of the bed. Transfer tanks are not tested to the standards for connection to the OE fuel tank. Stay with the manual shut off valve. With the way computer systems are in today’s trucks the valve can not be on while traveling down the road. If the fuel level does not drop as you drive the computer will flag an error because the level is not dropping in the tank.

It is not offered in black.
AdminDeeZee2 –
The cap where you fill the tank is a vented fuel cap.
AdminDeeZee2 –
We recommend checking the dimensions of the tank with where it will be installed in the truck bed to make sure fitment.
AdminDeeZee2 –
We do not weld hooks to the tanks.
AdminDeeZee2 –
The tank we have for that would be the DZ92740XB. It is a low profile tank with a height of 16″. Then add in the filler neck and cap it comes to 19.5″ height.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Using the tabs that are welded to the base of the tank can be used to install to the truck bed.

Pumps and hose are sold separately from the tanks. For an auxiliary set we do not have a kit for a 98 Dodge. First year of fitment is the 99. To lock the hose from the pump, it would have to be removed.

We currently have our site designed for specific applications. I would suggest following this link https://www.deezee.com/catalog/ or type it into your web browser. This will take you to where you can view our entire catalog and application guide where the tanks are all listed with dimensions.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Yes they can.
AdminDeeZee2 –
We don’t have a part number for the toolbox to be separate. The combos come complete.
AdminDeeZee2 –
X is a silver finish and XB is black.
AdminDeeZee2 –
We have several sizes to choose from. All dimensions are at the part number level.
AdminDeeZee2 –
We do not have any gauges for the tanks.
AdminDeeZee2 –
For venting the cap that comes with the tank is enough. Be sure to loosen the cap when the tank is in use.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Depends on the part number of the combo. We now have two different size toolboxes that work on our new 46″ and 56″ L shape tanks. Those are the only ones sold separate.
AdminDeeZee2 –
We do not make any fuel gauges for our tanks.
AdminDeeZee2 –
Our tanks do not meet the Federal DOT standards for gasoline. They are regulated for Diesel which is less volatile.
AdminDeeZee2 –
The tanks have baffles. We have one that does not have any because they are not necessary for the size. DZ91750 has none because it is 24″ cubed.
